Teamsters Local 630 members are against Smart & Final to protect their jobs and secure a fair contract. The grocery warehouse chain plans to close two Smart & Final warehouses in Commerce and Riverside, California, threatening the livelihoods of over 600 workers.

FIGHT BACK AGAINST CORPORATE GREED:

Driven by corporate greed, Chedraui, the heartless corporate giant behind Smart & Final has spit in the face of U.S. labor law and threatens to destroy American jobs. Chedraui USA, the U.S. subsidiary of Mexican grocery giant Grupo Chedraui, plans to close their jobs at a new mega warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga, with wages slashed by $10 to $12 per hour.

DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY, PROTECT AMERICAN JOBS:

Chedraui USA/Smart & Final is accused of committing countless unfair labor practices and violating federal and state laws, including California Assembly Bill (AB) 647. Smart & Final workers are the backbone of the company’s success, allowing Chedraui to generate $13 billion in revenue. Closing unionized warehouses and forcing workers to accept lower wages is an attack on labor rights. These workers deserve fair treatment and job security.

SUPPORT THE BOYCOTT:

Stand in solidarity with the workers.
